The Heritage Foundation, a conservative DC think tank, is deadly serious about executing the Project 2025 doctrine, which upends our society, as we know it.
For the past 30 (or more) years the Federalist Society has had large sums of dark money – $120 million in 2022 – funneled into the coffers of politicians and judges to create a sweeping conservative change in states’ judiciaries. It is responsible for stacking the SCOTUS with extreme conservatives so it could end Roe v. Wade, dismantle voting rights, push social issues into state courts and grant complete immunity to a conservative president. Project 2025 establishes white Christian nationalism in place of our free society with provisions for every aspect of our lives. These “Christians” want to control our live through their narrow and exclusionary perverse interpretation of Christ’s social equality, inclusivity and kindly teachings. It would be imposed on you and your children. Resistance to some of the declarations, specifically regarding transportation for birth control or abortion pills will become criminal acts that will end up imposing jail time. Don’t be fooled by Project 2025’s extremist perverse ideology. Their goal is to establish a broken society in which women have no voice, education is deemed evil, social safety nets are removed, workers› rights and safety regulations are removed, environmental protections are erased, regulations protecting consumers from corporate gouging are dissolved and past foreign treaties and alliances are ignored. The doctrine starts with a sweeping round up of hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants, putting them in existing facilities, like Nazi camps, separating families and processing their deportation to unknown surroundings with little or no provisions. It calls for all civil servants to be replaced by conservative MAGA loyalists, liquidating departments that regulate air quality, water quality and food safety. Environmental watchdog offices would be closed, as would programs that encourage and support solar and other alternative energies. They would be giving Trump sweeping powers to do whatever he wants, including weaponizing every branch of government to attack anyone who opposes him. Journalists, attorney generals, special counsels, liberal news anchors will be jailed and prosecuted for treason and radio stations like NPR would be denied federal assistance and shut down. With the immunity decision from SCOTUS Trump is free to extort money from, and even abandon, nations looking for the protection and support of the NATO alliance, as it would be deemed as “official business.” He has promised to aid his pal, Putin and hand the Ukraine over to him by removing aid and weapons promised to them. He would be soft on China, North Korea and Hungary, as he admires these fascist dictators. Trump has pledged to impose tariffs. Every imported item will cost us all 10 percent more. He claims his program will hurt foreign exporters and build jobs here. Actually we, as consumers, will pay for it. This revenue creates an immense cash cow from which he could collect billions of dollars to share with the major politicalplayers like Steve Bannon, Roger Stone and select Supreme Court justices – similar to Russian oligarchs. It could become his personal revenue stream as it might be construed to be “official business of the office of the president” and give him immunity from prosecution for embezzlement, abuse of power and using a government office for personal gain. Term limits would be expunged from the law books and he would remain in power indefinitely. Abortion, LGTQIA+ rights, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of education and equality between the races and genders would be gone. A full abortion ban would be imposed and a form of Christianity would prevail in all classrooms, with daily prayers. Controversial books (by their definition) would be banned from the shelves of libraries and schools and replaced with a rewritten curriculum in the vision of white Christian authoritarianism, excluding contributions from Black, Latino and Asian cultures. If teachers teach scientific principles, like evolution of man, or use banned books as a part of their curriculum, they could be criminally prosecuted.
